Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Luxe Security Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") handles information in connection with RX Reminder (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store for iOS. This policy is effective as of January 1, 2025.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. RX Reminder is designed from the ground up to store your health data locally on your device and within your own iCloud account. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your personal health information.

RX Reminder collects only the information you enter directly into the App. This data is stored exclusively on your iPhone and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. The types of data stored include:

• Medication names, dosages, colors, and notes you assign
• Dose schedules and reminder times you configure
• Dose logs (taken, missed, or skipped) with timestamps
• Care Circle sharing preferences and grace period settings

No account registration is required to use RX Reminder. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or any other personal identifier. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.

If you have iCloud enabled on your iPhone, RX Reminder uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your data across your personal devices. This sync occurs through your own Apple ID and iCloud account — it is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours.

When Care Circle is active, dose completion status for shared medications is stored in a CloudKit public database record. This record is not associated with your personal identity; it is accessible only by individuals who possess your share code. We never have access to or control over this data.

The Care Circle feature allows you to voluntarily share your dose completion status with a caregiver or family member. When you enable Care Circle:

• A unique share code is generated on your device
• Your dose completion events are stored in Apple's CloudKit using that code as the identifier
• Only individuals who know your share code can access this information
• The data stored in CloudKit does not contain your name, Apple ID, or any other identifier that links it to you

You can stop sharing at any time. When you disable Care Circle, all shared data stored in CloudKit is immediately removed. Caregivers will no longer be able to view your dose status.

RX Reminder does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or tracking SDKs. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any equivalent service.

The only external service the App interacts with is Apple's iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure, as described in Section 3 above. This interaction is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and frameworks.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your data to any third party for any purpose.

All data stored by RX Reminder remains on your device for as long as you have the App installed. When you delete the App from your iPhone, all locally stored data is removed by the iOS operating system.

If you use iCloud sync, data may persist in your personal iCloud account after app deletion according to Apple's iCloud data management policies. You can manage or delete this data through your iPhone's Settings app under your Apple ID and iCloud settings.

Care Circle data stored in CloudKit's public database is removed immediately when you disable Care Circle sharing, or when you delete the App. No residual data remains on any server we control, because we control no servers.

RX Reminder is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is intended for use by adults managing their own medication schedules and by adult caregivers assisting others.

Because all of your data is stored on your own device and iCloud account not on our servers, you have complete and direct control over it at all times. Specifically, you can:

• Delete any medication, dose log, or schedule at any time within the App
• Disable Care Circle sharing to immediately remove all shared CloudKit data
• Delete the App to remove all locally stored data from your device
• Manage iCloud data through your iPhone's Settings under your Apple ID

Because we do not possess, process, or control your personal data on any server, we are not in a position to fulfill data access or deletion requests on our end — there is no data on our end to access or delete. Your rights are exercised directly through your device and Apple's iCloud interface.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features, applicable law, or our practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of RX Reminder after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If we make material changes that affect how we handle your information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through an in-app notice or App Store release notes.
